It is hard to believe Southern Door was not taking a hard look at Alex Daoust at the beginning of last year.

 

This week's Culver's Student-Athlete of the Week is off to a hot start this season, already throwing for 272 yards and five touchdowns with just one pick. He has also been able to use his legs to get his team going offensively, rushing for 141 yards on 17 carries and a touchdown.  He is already closing in on the production he had his junior year when he threw for 572 yards and threw 3 touchdowns and three interceptions. Head coach Ryan Zuelke said last week that Daoust took the offseason seriously and prepared very well entering his senior campaign.

 

Daoust and the Eagles travel to Oconto this Friday night as they look to go 3-0 on the truncated season. The game will air live on 102.1 MORE FM and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show followed by kickoff at 7 p.m.
