The Southern Door cross country had three of its runners finish in the top-10 in its races against Sevastopol and NEW Lutheran Thursday afternoon at Cherry Hills Golf Course. 

 

In the boys' race, the Eagles' Mason Massart took sixth overall with a time of 19:57. The Eagles’ other two runners, Cody Penovich and Spencer Slezewski finished with times of 21:43 and 23:41. Sevastopol won the boys race with a score of 27 while Southern Door and Green Bay N.E.W couldn’t field a complete team. 

 

The girls were able to field a full team and finished with a score of 46. Sevastopol and N.E.W. tied at 37 but Sevastopol won the tiebreaker due to having a sixth runner. Southern Door's Brooke Strege (22:36) and Sanya Wienke (22:53) finished fifth and sixth overall.  Lydia LeCloux finished in seventh, running a time of 23:06 on the 5K course. The remaining scorers finished in the top 15.
