The Southern Door football team hopes to still bring the homecoming flair to Brussels Friday evening when it hosts Peshtigo.
The Eagles are coming off a dominating 44-7 victory over Clintonville last week. Alex Daoust threw for four touchdowns and over 200 yards in the victory while Nick Baudhuin and Christian Counard each added scores on the ground. Head coach Ryan Zuelke says Daoust took advantage of the offseason to improve his craft
The Bulldogs will play their first game on Friday after the late start to the season and Sturgeon Bay moving their contact sports to the spring. That is not the only thing plaguing the Bulldogs according to coach Jeff Bayerl.
The Bulldogs did last year's match-up against the Eagles 42-27. Tim Kowols and Bryan Mazur will have the call on 102.1 MORE FM beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pre-game show followed by kickoff at 7 p.m.
