It was a comfortable victory Tuesday night for Southern Door High School's volleyball team in the first round of the WIAA postseason tournament. The Eagles defeated Roncalli in straight sets with nearly identical scores 25-15, 25-14, 25-14. Kendra Dantoin and Hailey Shimon were the offensive threats securing 18 kills and 8 kills respectively. Nicole Norton assisted on most of those kills, tallying 34 for the night. Dantoin chipped in defensively as well with 14 digs, just behind Jackie Atkins' 15.

Southern Door will host a second round match on Thursday at 7 PM against St. Mary's Springs. St. Mary's defeated Kewaunee volleyball on Tuesday.
