The Southern Door Eagles cross country team probably wish they could actually fly after racing through a wet course at the Reedsville Panther Invitational Thursday.

 

The girls team took eighth place overall thanks to Lydiah LeCloux running a 22:39 on the 5K course, which was good for a seventh-place overall finish. Sam Dean broke 19 minutes again to pace a short-handed Eagles boys team to earn 18th place individually.
