Eagle softball wins by slaughter-rule in Green Bay

In a game that was moved from Brussels to Green Bay, the location didn't matter for the Eagle softball team as they dominated Green Bay NEW Lutheran 21-2 in five innings on Saturday. Southern Door started scoring runs immediately by putting an eight on the board in the first. The Eagles would go on to score in all five innings. Kendra Dantoin and Nicole Norton each had two hits.

Grace LeGrave had a good day on the mound for the Eagles as she only allowed two hits and struck out seven in the win. Josie Nelson took the loss for the Blazers.

It was a good sight to see the team score so many runs after being shut out in their first game 1-0 against Oconto on Thursday. Their next game is scheduled for Tuesday at Sevastopol, first pitch at 5 PM.
