The Crusader Challenge brought a large field of runners to Sheboygan, with Ozaukee and Oostburg claiming the varsity team championships.
Ozaukee won the boys varsity race with 78 points, edging Washington County Homeschool by a single point. Kewaunee finished 16th in the team standings with 399 points, while Gibraltar was 17th with 412.
Kewaunee was led by Jaxon Slack, who finished in 22:55.8. Bentley Konop followed with a time of 31:55.6.
On the girls side, Oostburg captured the varsity team championship with 102 points, finishing ahead of Winnebago Lutheran Academy (110) and Ozaukee (122). Southern Door turned in the top finish among the highlighted area teams, placing fourth with 150 points. Kewaunee was eighth with 218 points.
Southern Door received a strong performance from Amber Geisel, who finished in 24:33.5.
Sevastopol was represented by Shylee Asher, who finished in 24:19.5, while Izzy Andreae crossed in 26:02.6 and Margaret Thomas finished in 26:41.7.
