The Green Bay Glory may have been off the pitch for a while now, but three of their players were honored this week as members of the Midwest Premier League Heartland Division 1 Best XI.
Defender Tommy Geocaris and goalkeeper Haakon Utesch, and forward Dennis Nyame were named to the squad. Nyame finished second in the conference with eight goals, three shy of the Golden Boot winner. Utesch and Geocaris were a part of a defensive front that led the Glory to a 10-6-2 mark across all competitions and a third-place finish in the division.
