The Notre Dame Fighting Irish outscored the Wisconsin Badgers 28-3 in the second half to waltz out of their Shamrock Series date at Lambeau Field with a 41-13 win.

 

After trading field goals to start the game, the Irish got the first touchdown on the board at the end of the first quarter when CJ Carr found Notre Dame Academy product James Flanigan to make it 10-3. The Badgers offered their response immediately, taking their next drive down the field for a 28-yard touchdown to Malachi Coleman to tie the game at 10. The Irish entered the break at halftime up 13-10 thanks to another field goal midway through the second quarter.

 

 

The Irish sprinted past the Badgers in the third quarter, scoring 14 consecutive points on a three-yard touchdown run by Aneyas Williams and a pick-six recorded by DJ McKinney. With a Badgers field goal in between, another Williams touchdown run and a Carr touchdown pass sealed the deal for the Irish.

 

 

The Badgers kept it close in most of the game's metrics, but the Irish's 2-0 turnover lead proved to be too much as they turned them into 14 points.
