Days before the Wisconsin football team returns to Lambeau Field for an opening weekend contest against Notre Dame, the university's hockey teams announced they would be doing the same.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Travel Wisconsin, and collegiate partners joined the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday to announce a doubleheader featuring the Badgers women’s and men’s hockey teams on Feb. 20, 2027. The doubleheader will be the first college hockey games played at Lambeau Field since the Badgers beat Ohio State in front of over 40,000 fans en route to a national title in 2006.
The men will swap out Ohio State for Michigan this time around, while the women will play Ohio State in their game.
Pre-sale tickets for the Travel Wisconsin Frozen Tundra Faceoff will be available for purchase on Wed., Sept. 9, 2026, with general tickets available for purchase on Fri., Sept. 11, 2026.
