Egg Harbor did not let a three-run West Jacksonport comeback phase them as they scored four unanswered runs to win the game 7-4 on Sunday. 

 

Back to back doubles by Brady Kita and Anthony Jennerjohn got the Indians on the scoreboard in the first inning before Drew Price helped his cause in the third inning with a two-RBI double in the third to make it 3-0. The Ports made their comeback in the bottom of the third inning with four hits as Woody Schartner's RBI double and Riley Cordier's two-RBI single made it 3-3. 

 

Price settled down after that inning, sitting down 12 of the next 13 batters while he let the offense settle things. A wild pitch with Nick Kita up to bat let his brother Brady score to give them a 4-3 lead in the fifth inning before he tacked on two more runs in sixth with a single to make it 6-3. The Indians ended their scoring in the seventh inning with a two-out RBI double by Brady Kita while the Ports' last hurrah came in the eighth inning on a Cordier pop out.

 

 

For the Indians. Price has three hits while Brady Kita and Drake Olson had two hit games. Nick Kita drove in three runs while Price drove in a pair. Price got the win on the mound, allowing three runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out six.

 

For the Ports, Woody Schartner went 3-3 and an RBI while Cordier drove in three runs. 

 

 

The other scores saw Sister Bay take sole possession of first place with a 3-2 win over Kolberg while Washington Island slipped to third place with an 8-7 loss to Maplewood heading into the final weekend of play. The Islanders will try to slip into second place with a matchup next Sunday against Kolberg while Sister Bay visits Egg Harbor, West Jacksonport hosts Baileys Harbor and Institute welcomes Maplewood.
