A fourth-inning lead did not stand as the Green Bay Rockers saw their season end on Saturday get swept by the Madison Mallards with a 4-3 loss.

The Mallards scored twice in the third inning only to have the Rockers answer with three runs in the fourth inning, two of which came on a home run by Brayden Pleau. The score stayed that way until the sixth inning when the Mallards plated two runs on solo shots from Aiden Arnett and Davis Hamilton.

Pleau led the offensive attack with two hits and two RBI while Boone Kirst also recorded two hits. Skyler Sievert took the loss on the mound, allowing four runs (4 ER) on five hits and five walks with one strike out across seven innings of work.

The Rockers end their season with a 39-30 record, which was good for fourth place in the Great Lakes Division. The Rockers finished 5.5 games out during the first half of the season and 3.5 games out in the second half to miss out on the playoffs a year after winning the Northwoods League.
