The Algoma Penguins fell behind 6-0 and never could catch up in their 8-3 playoff loss to Ashwaubenon on Tuesday.

After giving up single runs in the fourth and fifth inning, the Penguins scored their only runs of the game in bottom of the sixth inning after allowing four runs in the top of the frame. Back-to-back RBI singles from Tyler Neinas and Charlie Prokash provided the offense that went silent the rest of the game as the Lookouts faced the minimum over the final three innings.

Prokash led the way with two hits and two RBI in the Penguins' season finale while Neinas, Carson Leist, Austin Dart, Brady Kita, and Jaden Diller all recorded one hit. Leist took the loss, allowing two runs (1 ER) on seven hits and one walk while striking out three across five innings.
