The Green Bay Rockers dug out from a 5-0 hole only to fall into another deficit they could not dig out of in a 9-6 defeat to the Wausau Woodchucks on Monday.

A Woodchuck grandslam and a RBI double buried the Rockers in the first inning, but they did not give up as they rallied for two runs in their half of the frame before tying it up in the fifth with Daniel Harden's solo shot the highlight. The game tilted in favor of the Woodchucks in the eighth inning when the Rockers could only answer their four-run frame with one of their own.

Harden was the lone Rockers player to have multiple hits (2) while Coleman Lewis led the team in RBI thanks to his two-run shot. Cord Copley took the loss for the Rockers, allowing four runs (4 ER) on one hit and three walks while striking out two over 2.1 innings of work.

The series shifts to Wausau for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch on Tuesday.
