The Green Bay Rockers had to come back from four runs down in the first and one in the seventh inning to beat Battle Creek 10-7 on Thursday.
The Battle Jacks opened the game with a four-spot in the first inning and held onto that advantage until the Rockers cut the lead in half in the third inning. Trailing 4-2, the Rockers took the lead with their own as they scored four runs on six hits. The Battle Jacks responded quckily, tying the game in the fifth before taking the lead in the seventh. The Rockers posted their second four-run inning in the ninth inning with Jeremy Delamota's solo homer and Daniel Harden's two-run homer being the difference. The Rockers completed the comeback with Joshua Wolkin inducing a 1-2-3 inning in the ninth.
Coleman Lewis led the Rockers with a 3-5 evening that included a double and a RBI. Jt Starkus, Ben Fishel, Stefan Di Corrado, and Dom Bello each had two hits as the Rockers outhit the Battle Jacks 14-11. Zacary Tenn earned the win in relief, allowing three runs (3 ER) on six hits while striking out three.
