After losing 4-2 on Saturday, the Green Bay Rockers pounded out 15 hits on a 17-6 win on Sunday against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.
The Rockers jumped on the Rafters early, scoring seven times in the first inning and five more times in the third inning. Things got chaotic late with the Rafters outscoring the Rockers 6-5 in the final three innings, but it was not enough to erase the 12-0 deficit entering the final frames.
Aidan Kuni pounded out four hits and two RBI while David Ballenilla went 3-4 with two doubles and three RBI to lead the Rockers. Caden Crask-Weeks did not need much run support to earn the win, pitching four scoreless innings of two-hit ball while striking out six.
The Rockers will continue west for a pair of road games against the LaCrosse Loggers on Monday and Tuesday before welcoming Wausau on Wednesday for the first part of a home-and-home series.
