For the first time since 2022, Green Bay and Wisconsin will meet on the basketball court.

 

Phoenix head coach Doug Gottlieb mentioned the matchup during the Inside Wisconsin Sports radio show Wednesday. The exhibition game is scheduled for Oct. 15.

 

No additional details were announced, including whether the agreement includes a return game, similar to Green Bay's exhibition arrangement with Bradley last year.

 

Gottlieb also teased a possible exhibition contest against Marquette during his appearance.

 

The news comes as Green Bay recently extended Athletic Director Josh Moon's contract through 2031.
