Rockers slip past Rafters in first game of twinbill

Rain and a fourth-inning fielder's choice helped the Green Bay Rockers earn a 1-0 victory over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in the first game of a doubleheader Wednesday.

Offense was hard to come by as the teams combined for just four hits. The Rockers recorded three of those hits, but it was a walk by Coleman Lewis that set up Selga's game-winning RBI.

Aidan Kuni led the Rockers with two hits.

Holden Harris earned the win in relief, striking out three and allowing one hit over two innings.

If weather permits, Game 2 is scheduled to begin at 6:35 p.m.
