Packers sign TE Lachey

The Green Bay Packers keep on stock piling talent before training camp kicks off next week.

 

General Manager announced the signing of TE Luke Lachey on Monday in addition to the release of WR Jakobie Keeney-James. According to Packers.com, was originally selected by the Houston Texans in the seventh round (No. 255 overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. He spent his entire rookie season on the Texans' practice squad before being released on May 11. Lachey played in 42 games with 31 starts for Iowa, was named a permanent team captain and was one of Iowa's Comeback Players of the Year his senior season. He will wear No. 86 for Green Bay.
