Rockers can't complete sweep of Dock Spiders

The Green Bay Rockers could not go 4-4 against their 1-41 rivals on Tuesday, falling to the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 8-3 on Tuesday.

After sweeping the Green Bay games 9-3 and 6-0 and taking the first game in Fond du Lac 11-9, the Rockers had a 3-0 lead going into the bottom of the eighth before the wheels fell completely off. Rockers pitching gave up eight runs on six hits, including extra base knocks from the Dock Spiders' Joey Arend and Miles Vandenheuvel to flip the results in their favor.

Caden Roth was the guilty party in the loss, allowing six of the eight runs (6 ER) on four hits and two walks while retiring just one batter. Eli Selga led the Rockers with a 2-4 evening that saw him drive in a run.

The Rockers are back at home on Wednesday with a twinbill against Wisconsin Rapids with games at 12:05 p.m. and 6:35 p.m.
