The Green Bay Rockers broke a three-game slide with a doubleheader sweep of the Lakeshore Chinooks on Friday, 3-1 and 7-6.
In the first game, David Ballenilla provided important insurance with a leadoff homer. Aidan Kuni and Payton Fort each had two hits games to lead the Rockers. Max Wagar earned the win with four innings of one hit, one run ball.
In game two, the Rockers were trailing 6-0 before they narrowed the deficit to one eith a five-run fifth inning. They walked off the Chinooks in the seventh with Coleman Lewis' two-run bomb providing the difference. RJ Furcal, Jr. and Max Humphrey each had two hits while Zacary Tenn's 1-2-3 seventh with three strikeouts was enough to qualify for the Winter.
The Rockers play the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders the next four games, including the next two at home.
