Blizzard return home to face Sharks

The Green Bay Blizzard to bounce back from a rare loss last weekend with a home date against the Jacksonville Sharks on Friday.

 

The Blizzard had their six-game winning streak come to an end Saturday night in Moline, falling to the Quad City Steamwheelers 43-37 in one of the wilder games of the IFL season. Liam Thompson threw for 109 yards and two touchdowns, but finished 9-of-23 and was replaced by Cole Stenstrom at different points throughout the game. Trevon Alexander was the standout on offense with five catches for 53 yards and two receiving touchdowns, adding a rushing score as well. Draysean Hudson hauled in four catches for 63 yards and scored the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth on a stunning contested catch.

 

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
