Trevor Reinhardt and Tyler Neinas clamped down on Maplewood batters Sunday afternoon to help Kolberg earn the 3-0 win.
The pair each struck out five batters with Neinas doing so across five innings of one hit ball while Reinhardt allowed two hits across four innings.
The duo of Tory and Will Jandrin were not bad either, allowing three runs (3 ER) on seven hits while striking out four. An RBI single by Neinas in the second inning and a solo homer by Reinhardt paired with a run-scoring hit from Austen Dart proved to be too mch for the Mets to overcome.
For the Braves, Sam Koss led the team with two hits while five others had at least one hit. Neinas was credited with the win on the mound.
For the Mets, Jaden Diller had two of the team's three hits while Tory Jandrin took the loss on the mound.
