The change in venue did not help the Green Bay Rockers after dropping its second straight game to the Wausau Woodchucks 9-5.
The Rockers took a 4-0 lead in the third inning thanks in a part to a two-run single by Eli Selga, but the tides turned quickly as the Woodchucks scored one in the third and five more in the fourth inning to flip the game into their favor. Caden Mitchell got one run back for the Rockers in the seventh inning, but the Woodchucks put the game away an inning later with three runs in the eighth to sprint past their visitors for the second straight night.
Selga led the Rockers going 2-4 with two RBI while four other registered at least one hit including a homer by Mike Dee.
Caden Roth took the loss for the Rockers, allowing four runs (1 ER) on one hit and two walks across one-third of an inning.
The Rockers will host the Madison Mallards on Friday and Saturday night as they celebrate 20 years of Northwoods League baseball in Green Bay.
