The Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team is welcoming back one of its own to fill out their coaching staff.
Former Luxemburg-Casco and Green Bay star Cassie Schiltz was been named one of the program's assistant coaches on Monday. Schiltz played for the Phoenix for six seasons, from 2019-2025, leaving marks on the record books along the way. Schiltz is now the third alum on the staff, joining Head Coach Kayla Karius and her former teammate and current Assistant Coach Jasmine Kondrakiewicz.
Before signing on to coach at Green Bay, Schiltz had been sharpening her craft with the Wisconsin Legends 15U and 17U squads and UW-Oshkosh.
"I would like to thank head coach Kayla Karius for the opportunity to join the Green Bay coaching staff," said Schiltz. "I'm incredibly grateful to be returning to the university that gave me so much. This community and program are so special, and I'm so excited to be back."
