Wolves, Storm, and Pioneers track and field teams head to Oconto Falls

The Algoma, Kewaunee, and Sevastopol track and field teams are heading to Oconto Falls this Thursday as they are competing in a meet. Other schools competing include Bonduel, Chesterton Academy of St. John Paul II Classical, Coleman, Crandon, Denmark, Hilbert, Laona-Wabeno, Lena, Marinette, Oconto, and Seymour. 

 

The Wolves last hosted a meet, which saw them come in third. Leading the Wolves pact was Aiden Moen, coming in first in the 200M, 110M hurdles, and fifth in the long jump. Estella Marrero took first in the pole vault. 

 

The Storm took fourth at the Algoma meet, with two of their athletes showing out. Including Mitchell Boeder claiming the top spot in the shot put and discus. Chyanne Robinson took gold in the 100M and 800M. 

 

The Pioneers last competed at the Door County Classic, which saw multiple first-place finishes. Aaron Tomaszewski won the 1600m and 3200m and narrowly took the 800m, while Cash Kuehn won the high jump and triple jump. Zack Genske took second with a personal best in the shot put. For the girls, Breiah Newtontook second in the 1600m and 3200m, as did Braeyln Staats in the triple jump.

 

The meet begins at 4:00 p.m.
