The Packerland golf teams are gearing up for this Monday as they are set to compete at Little River Country Club and Vernon Hills. The schools to be competing are Gibraltar, Kewaunee, Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy, Oconto, Peshtigo, Sevastopol, Southern Door, and Sturgeon Bay. 

The first Packerland meet was this past Monday at Northbrook, which saw Sturgeon Bay taking home the first victory with a score of 189, two strokes better than second-place Sevastopol. 

Kewaunee’s Evan MacCaux had the best score of the night, carding a 42. Followed by Peshtigo’s Nick Mans and Sturgeon Bay’s Ashton Benzinger with a 44. Aiden Benzinger, Caleb Nielsen from Sturgeon Bay, Henry Wehrenberg, Jameson Tepe from Gibraltar, and Sevastopol’s Marek O’Dean all shot a 45. 

They will compete at Little River Country Club first, with a tee time of 11:00 a.m., then head to Vernon Hills for a 4:00 p.m. tee time.
