Green Bay made it back-to-back wins in Kearney Saturday night, taking down the Tri-City Storm 5-2 at Viaero Center to sweep the weekend series.
The Gamblers came out firing, putting up two goals in the first. Jette got things started just 1:34 in, with Conboy picking up the assist. Bienstock added his 4th of the year late in the period to make it 2-0 heading into the second.
Tri-City pulled one back early in the second on a goal from Ozogany, but Green Bay answered on the power play when Gulley potted his 23rd of the season to push the lead back to two.
The Storm made it interesting with a goal early in the third, but Hafele answered right back to put it out of reach. Knutson sealed it with an empty netter at 16:33.
Henriquez was excellent between the pipes again, stopping 25 of 27 shots to improve to 19-9-2-2 on the year. Green Bay also outshot Tri-City 41-27 on the night.
The Gamblers head home with a sweep and some momentum.
