The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay could add one more sport to its portfolio in the coming years, carrying with it plenty of local appeal.

Speaking with Ben Askren from WIWrestle, Green Bay Athletic Director Josh Moon addressed the rumors that the department was looking to add wrestling as a sport, joining the likes of cross country, basketball, golf, nordic sking, volleyball, soccer, and swimming. Citing the success of local teams like Kaukauna, Bay Port, Coleman, and Luxemburg, Moon says they would be crazy not to explore the possibility of adding the sport. The finances of adding the sport and acquiring the talent to make it a successful program are some of the hurdles they are facing at this point.
