Packers sign new defensive tackle, kick returner

The Green Bay Packers continued to make moves ahead of the official start of the new league year on Thursday.

 

The moves made on Wednesday and Thursday reported by multiple outlets included:

  • The team's signings of DL Javon Hargrave, DE Brenton Cox Jr., WR/KR Skyy Moore, and CB Benjamin St-Juste, DL Jonathan Ford, and TE Josh Whyle
  • The team's tendering of contracts to OL Donovan Jennings and WR/CB BO Melton.
  • The release of CB Nate Hobbs with post-June 1st designation
  • Other teams signing S Zayne Anderson (Dolphins), OL Elgton Jenkins (Browns), and WR Romeo Doubs (Patriots)

 

Earlier in the week, the Packers officially announced their farewells to Hobbs, its trade of DE Rashan Gary for a 2027 Dallas Cowboys 4th Round Pick, the contract extension of C/G Sean Rhyan, and its trade of DT Colby Wooden for Indianapolis Colts LB Zaire Franklin.
