The Green Bay Blizzard are preparing to kick off the 2026 IFL season this Sunday as they host the Vegas Knight Hawks in the Hall of Fame Game.

 

The matchup is a rematch of last season’s IFL National Championship, which saw the Blizzard fall short 64-61. In that game, Vegas quarterback Jayden de Laura scored a crucial rushing touchdown late to give the Knight Hawks the lead. Green Bay looked to respond but was stopped at the 1-yard line.

 

Despite the bitter ending, the Blizzard finished with a 10-6 regular-season record and were named the Eastern Conference champions.

 

During the offseason, the Blizzard made multiple moves to improve their offense, defense, special teams, and coaching staff. They now hope to avenge their National Championship loss and start the 2026 season on a high note.
