Packers trade DE Gary to Cowboys during flurry of moves

After cryptic social media posts sent rumors flying, it appears DE Rashan Gary has finally landed outside of Green Bay.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday morning that the Packers traded their former first round pick to the Dallas Cowboys for a 2027 fourth round draft pick.

It is the latest of moves being made by the organization to address some needs while also cutting payroll ahead of the official start of free agency this week.

Over the weekend, the Packers traded DT Colby Wooden to the Indianapolis Colts for LB Zaire Franklin according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. It is a move that could spell the end of the road for another former first round draft, Quay Walker, and his time in Green Bay.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler also reported over the weekend that the Packers are signing OL Sean Rhyan to a three-year, $33 million contract that could be worth as much as $39 million with incentives.
