The UW-Green Bay men’s basketball team will host the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons this Tuesday for the first round of the Barbasol Horizon League Championship.
These two teams have already matched up twice this season, with the Phoenix coming out on top both times.
The Mastodons are the 6th seed, fresh off an 87-81 victory over IU Indianapolis.
The Phoenix entered as the favorite, taking the 5th seed. The Phoenix aims to keep its winning momentum after beating Youngstown State 86-83. CJ O’Hara was the leading scorer for Green Bay with 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. Followed by Preston Ruedinger with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. Also scoring double-digit points on the night were Justin Allen with 16 and Caden Wilkins with 10.
The tip-off is at 7 p.m.
