The Green Bay Packers have found their man to lead the organization's special teams moving forward.
Head coach Matt LaFleur announced the hiring of Cam Achord as its special teams coordinator, replacing Rich Bisaccia, who resigned from his post last month nearly 40 days removed from the end of the Packers' season.
According to Packers.com, Achord comes to the Packers with 10 years of experience coaching special teams in the NFL, including four seasons as a coordinator. That includes his last two seasons with the New York Giants where he served as an assistant special teams coach. Before New York, Achord spent six years coaching special teams for the New England Patriots, first as assistant special teams coach from 2018-19 and then as the special teams coordinator from 2020-23.
