A local rivalry game highlights the opening week of the WIAA Boys Basketball Tournament beginning next week.

 

Algoma will play Southern Door to open the tournmanet on March 3rd with the winner traveling to face St. Mary Catholic. With two wins, the Wolves or the Eagles could face Kewaunee with a regional title on the line if the Storm can get through #9 Manawa or #8 Weyauwega-Fremont. #1 Kewaunee, #5 Algoma, and #6 Luxemburg-Casco are the only area teams hosting tournament games.
