Local girls’ wrestling teams are preparing for sectionals on Friday. Sturgeon Bay and Southern Door will compete at D.C. Everest High School, while Kewaunee and Luxemburg-Casco will wrestle at Waupaca.

 

Qualifiers from Saturday’s regional competition for Sturgeon Bay were Izzy Andreae (152 pounds), Tiani Lemeuix (165), and Anna Dalke (185).

 

Southern Door qualifiers were Nora LeFerve (107), Skya Scrimgeour (114), Portia Hah (132), Tiana Hah (138), and Sydney Turner (145).

 

Kewaunee’s lone qualifier was Arianna Niemojuski (165).

 

Luxemburg-Casco qualifiers were Jakayla Stienhorst (107), Evelyn Lange (138), and Kiley Georgel (235).

 

Wrestling begins at 5 p.m.
