Gunnar Conboy, a forward for the Green Bay Gamblers, is once again returning to the international stage. Conboy has been selected for the U17 Five Nations Team. Conboy was a part of the 2025 World Junior A Challenge, playing for Team USA this past December. Team USA took gold with Conboy playing a crucial role throughout the tournament.
The 2026 U17 Five Nations ice hockey tournament runs from Feb. 3-7, and it features top international under-17 teams, including the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. The tournament will be held at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. On Tuesday, Team USA faces off against Switzerland at 6 PM, and on Wednesday’s game is against Finland also at 6 PM. The team will have a rest day on Thursday and will return on Friday to take on Czechia at 6 PM. Team USA will then face off against Sweden on Saturday at 6 PM.
