The Green Bay Packers have hired Jonathan Gannon as defensive coordinator, head coach Matt LaFleur announced Monday.

Gannon spent the past three seasons as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. During his time there, Arizona ranked second in the NFL in yards allowed per carry (4.92) and ninth in rushing yards allowed per game (125.5).

Gannon also spent two seasons as defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles (2021-23), helping lead them to the Super Bowl during the 2022 season.
