The Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team used a 16-0 run stretching across two periods to guide them to a 66-52 win over Wright State on Thursday.
In addition to the extended run, the Phoenix's defense turned it up a notch, forcing several shot clock violations and caused 13 turnovers including seven steals.
Double-doubles from Jenna Guyer (20 points and 10 rebounds) and Maddy Skorupski (10 points and 11 rebounds) paced the attack for the Phoenix while Meghan Schultz added 12 points.
After winning their 10th straight game overall and their 13th in the Horizon League, the Phoenix are off until they start a three-game road trip at Robert Morris on Thursday. Game time is at 10 a.m.
