The Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team will try to stay perfect in the Horizon League Thursday night when they welcome the Wright State Raiders to the Kress Events Center.
In their last game, the Phoenix used a 21-10 first quarter to secure their 12th straight Horizon League victory. Slim edges in rebounds (37-34) and forced turnovers (19-16) helped Green Bay fend off any comeback attempts by the Titans. Maddy Skorupski led the Phoenix with 22 points, while Jenna Guyer and Meghan Schultz each chipped in 11.
The Raiders are 6-15 and 2-8 in Horizon League play heading into Thursday's contest. They are trying to snap a five-game losing skid.
Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
