The UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team prepares to host Oakland on Thursday night. The Phoenix and Golden Grizzlies have already met this season, with Green Bay earning a 78-63 win on Jan. 8. Oakland enters the matchup after an 80-70 victory over Detroit Mercy.

The Phoenix are riding a seven-game winning streak, most recently defeating Milwaukee 76-61. Leading the way was Meghan Schultz with 20 points, six rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block. Reigning Horizon League Player of the Week Jenna Guyer added a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, along with an assist and a block. Maddy Skorupski led defensively with six steals while also contributing 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
