The Green Bay Gamblers responded after last weekend’s split with Des Moines, rolling past the Fargo Force 5-1 Friday night at the Resch Center.
Fargo struck first midway through the opening period, but Green Bay answered quickly and seized control. Bienstock evened the score before Knutson gave the Gamblers the lead late in the first to make it 2-1 heading into the break.
Green Bay came out firing in the second, as Gulley scored just 30 seconds in and Hafele added another to stretch the lead to 4-1. The Gamblers dictated the pace defensively, forcing Fargo into tough looks while maintaining consistent offensive pressure.
Rozsíval put the game away with a third-period goal, and Henriquez was sharp in net, stopping 34 of 35 shots. Green Bay will look to carry the momentum into Saturday’s rematch with Fargo as the homestand continues.
