A day after breaking their 14-game losing streak, the Green Bay Gamblers started a new one with a 2-1 victory over Des Moines Buccaneers Sunday afternoon.
The Gamblers did their damage in the second period with goals from Oliver McKinney while the Bucs' Ryan Seelinger took advantage of the 6-5 advantage to score the Bucs' lone goal with 56 minutes remaining in the game. Leo Henriquez earned the victory for the Gamblers, stopping 19 of the 20 shots he faced.
The Gamblers return home for a weekend set against Fargo with a 7:05 puck drop on Friday and a 6:05 puck drop on Saturday.
