The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team will face its in-state rival Milwaukee on Monday night.
Two separate 10-plus runs gave the Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team their first win of 2026, beating Purdue Fort Wayne 72-54 last Thursday afternoon. The Phoenix never trailed in the game, opening the game with a 15-0 run in the contest's first six minutes. While the Mastodons were able to trim the advantage to six points before the break, the Phoenix were able to stretch that lead back out to double digits before closing out the game on a 10-0 run. Justin Allen scored 21 points to lead the Phoenix and to match the Mastodons' Corey Hadnot II. Allen received support from Caden Wilkins' 17 points and Marcus Hall's 15 points.
The Mastodons were the Panthers' last win, a 77-55 drubbing before they took losses against Wisconsin (80-60) and Wright State (76-70).
Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
