The Gamblers extended their winning streak to 14 games on New Year's Eve with a 5-4 win over Madison in front of more than 6,300 fans. David Rozsíval, Oliver McKinney, and Cruz Martin staked the Gamblers to a 3-1 lead after the first period only to see the Capitols return the favor in the second period. Tied 4-4 in the third period, Ethan Drabicki scored the game-winner in the final minute to swipe the game away for the Gamblers.
