Packers back into the playoffs following Lions loss

The Green Bay Packers found a playoff spot under the Christmas tree this year and it was not because of Santa.

Six turnovers led to the Detroit Lions falling to the Minnesota Vikings 23-10. Former Packer Aaron Jones rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings win that gave the Packers their third straight playoff appearance.

The Packers still have opportunities to improve their seeding with matchups against the Ravens on Saturday and the Vikings next Sunday, plus a little help from their friends like the Lions, who are now eliminated from the playoffs.

Kickoff against the Ravens is set for Saturday at 7:20 p.m.
