Gamblers' Henriquez and Zellers named to 2026 Juniors Preliminary Rosters

Leo Henriquez and Will Zellers have been named to the 2026 World Juniors Preliminary Rosters. Henriquez, a goalie for the Green Bay Gamblers, will represent Team Slovakia. He has appeared in 10 games this season, posting a 5-2-0-1 record and the second-highest save percentage in the USHL at 92.7%, just behind Ajay White’s 93.0%. Henriquez last represented Slovakia at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup this summer, appearing in two games with a 93.1 save percentage.


Former Gamblers forward Will Zellers, now at the University of North Dakota, will represent Team USA. Zellers has 10 goals and five assists in 16 games for the Fighting Hawks and was named NCHC Rookie of the Month in November after scoring seven goals in seven games. During his lone season with the Gamblers, he recorded 44 goals in 52 games and was named both USHL Forward of the Year and USHL Player of the Year.
