The Gamblers are currently on a hot streak, winning their past eight games, including their most recent victory over the Steel — a 6–5 shootout win. Goals in that matchup came from David Rozsival, Oliver McKinney, Zach Wooten, Geno Carcone, and Owen Buesgens. Regulation ended tied 5–5, with a scoreless overtime sending the game to a shootout. Gavin Katz scored on the Gamblers’ first attempt, the Steel answered, and a Zach Wooten tally sealed the win. Goalie Joey Slavick earned the victory, stopping 23 of 28 shots.
