Two Green Bay Gamblers players have earned USHL Player of the Week honors for their performances this past week. Andrew O’Sullivan was named the USHL Defensive Player of the Week after recording a four-point performance over the weekend. He leads all USHL defensemen in points (21) and power-play points (13). O’Sullivan is also the team’s assist leader with 18 and is tied for third in total points for the Gamblers.
Joey Slavick was named the USHL Goalie of the Week. Slavick recorded his first shutout as a Gambler in a 5–0 win over the Sioux City Musketeers on Friday. He has started in five of the Gamblers’ last six games, winning all of them.
