Gamblers stay hot with comeback win over Dubuque

The Green Bay Gamblers kept their surge up the Eastern Conference standings rolling Friday night, rallying for a 2-1 road win over the Dubuque Fighting Saints at ImOn Arena.

Dubuque struck first less than two minutes in, but that would be the only puck to beat Green Bay goaltender Adam Slavick, who turned away 31 of 32 shots in another strong outing.

After a scoreless second period, the Gamblers flipped the script in the third. Harry Timm buried his first of the season at 11:23 to even things up, and Jakub Rozsíval delivered the game-winner just five minutes later off a setup from Max Katz, who tallied two assists on the night.

Green Bay finished with 29 shots while killing off all three Dubuque power plays.

With the victory, the Gamblers sit third in the Eastern Conference with 33 points, trailing only Muskegon and Youngstown, and continue one of the hottest streaks in the USHL.
